  Why are supplements important?

Today's food can sustain life, but it cannot sustain health!

Why? Our plant food today is grown in topsoil less than a foot deep. At the turn of the century the average topsoil depth exceed 1-2 feet. Additionally, our topsoil has been so overused that it is grossly lacking in important vitamins and minerals. Therefore, if our food is grown in soil depleted of important nutrients, how can we obtain proper nutrition from our food? Answer: We cannot! Therefore it is imperative to supplement your diet with a good vitamin/mineral supplement and a quality antioxidant. Antioxidants are important to offset the free radical damage caused by the excessive amounts of chemical contaminants dumped into our food system during food processing.

For your convenience we stock both of those supplements and a whole lot more. We can even show you how to purchase those supplements so they are delivered directly to your doorstep on an automatic renewal basis.

Our animal food sources are contaminated with so many chemicals and hormones that our children are entering puberty much earlier than normal. Our fish, both fresh water and salt, are also highly contaminated with chemicals and antibiotics, that we now risk mercury poisoning and other ailments if we consume too much fish.

Bottom line: eat as healthy as humanly possible, and take vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
